How to Create an Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA)

Create ABHA Using Aadhaar

Overview

LinkedCare allows you to create a patient's Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) using their Aadhaar number. This process can be used when creating an ABHA for a patient for the first time.

Once the ABHA is created, you can download the ABHA Card and use the patient's ABHA details for further activities such as appointment booking.

Steps to Create ABHA Using Aadhaar

1. Open the ABHA Section

Log in to the LinkedCare Web Portal and click the ABHA button available at the top-left corner of the screen.

2. Enter Aadhaar Number

Select Create ABHA Using Aadhaar and enter the patient's 12-digit Aadhaar Number.

3. Provide Consent

Read the displayed Terms and Conditions and select the required consent checkbox.

Enter the Captcha Code and select:

I agree to give the necessary permission to LinkedCare to create my ABHA Number.

Click Continue to proceed.

4. Verify Mobile Number

An OTP will be sent to the mobile number registered with the patient's Aadhaar.

Enter the received OTP and verify it.

5. Create ABHA Address

After successful OTP verification, create a new ABHA Address.

Enter your preferred ABHA Address and check its availability. If the address is available, proceed with ABHA creation.

6. Complete ABHA Creation

Complete the remaining steps to create the patient's ABHA.

Once successfully created, the patient's ABHA Number and ABHA Address will be displayed.

Download ABHA Card

After creating the ABHA, you can download the patient's ABHA Card.

  1. Open the patient's ABHA details.
  2. Click Download ABHA Card.
  3. Save the downloaded card for future reference.

Create an Appointment Using ABHA

After the ABHA has been created, the patient's ABHA details can also be used to create an appointment.

Select the patient using their ABHA details and continue with the appointment creation process.

Troubleshooting

OTP Not Received

  • Verify that the Aadhaar number entered is correct.
  • Make sure the Aadhaar-linked mobile number is active.
  • Check the mobile network connection.
  • Request the OTP again if the option is available.

ABHA Address Not Available

If the selected ABHA Address is already in use, enter another address and check its availability.

Aadhaar-Linked Mobile Number Not Available

The OTP is sent to the mobile number registered with the patient's Aadhaar. Make sure the patient has access to this mobile number before starting the ABHA creation process.

Important Note

Make sure the patient's Aadhaar number and Aadhaar-linked mobile number are entered correctly before starting the process. Obtain the required patient consent before creating the ABHA.
