Create Wards, Ward Rooms, and Add Beds

This guide explains how to create wards, add ward rooms, and configure beds in LinkedCare.

Part 1: Create a Ward

Step 1: Open LinkedCare

Visit web.linkedcare.com in your web browser.

Step 2: Log In as Clinic Admin

Sign in using your Clinic Admin credentials.

Step 3: Navigate to the Wards Section

From the navigation bar, click Ward Management. From the drop-down menu, select Wards.

Step 4: Add a New Ward

Click the Add Ward button.

Step 5: Enter Ward Details

• Ward Name
• Description (Optional)

Click Save.

Success

Your ward has been created successfully.

Part 2: Create a Ward Room

Step 1: Open the Ward

Click on the ward you created.

Step 2: Add a Ward Room

Click the Add Ward Room button.

Step 3: Enter Ward Room Details

• Ward Room Name
• Description (Optional)
• Price
• Rows
• Columns

Click Add.

Success

Your ward room has been created successfully.

Note: The number of beds is determined by multiplying the Rows and Columns.

For example, if you need 4 beds, you can use any of the following combinations:

• Rows = 2, Columns = 2
• Rows = 1, Columns = 4
• Rows = 4, Columns = 1

Part 3: Create a Bed Type

Step 1: Open the Bed Type Section

From the navigation bar, click Ward Management and select Bed Type.

Step 2: Add a New Bed Type

Click the Add New button.

Step 3: Enter Bed Type Details

• Location (Hospital Name)
• Bed Type Name
• Description (Optional)

Click Save.

Success

Your bed type has been created successfully.

Part 4: Add Beds

Step 1: Open the Ward Room

Navigate to Ward Management → Wards, open the required Ward, and then select the Ward Room.

Step 2: Add a Bed

Click the Add Bed button.

Step 3: Enter Bed Details

• Bed Name
• Description (Optional)
• Select the Bed Type from the list of previously created bed types.

Click Add.

Success

The bed has been added successfully and is now available for patient admission.
